Here’s a current list of upcoming workshops:
Skins and Skeletons
Diana will be attending Mo Kelman’s “Skins and Skeletons” workshop at Snow Farm in Massachusetts this fall, where she will apply the skills she learns to fashion and textile artistry. Mo’s work is especially inspiring to Diana because of the combination of structure and softness, the somewhat dark appeal, and the beauty that results from such a lustrous blend of ideas and passion. Check out Mo’s work here.

Candle-making 101
Join Diana in the workshop to experience the process of candle-making. You will learn about the materials needed to set yourself up for success and the best practices around making your own beeswax candles at home. Beeswax has the lowest melting point of all candle waxes, which means they burn longer than most others. They don’t require added fragrance and they’re completely natural. BUT, as is often a claim on websites near and far, beeswax does not, in fact, clean the air around you…I’m glad to have chemists as friends:) We’ll talk more about this during the workshop!
Beeswax is a magical substance and one that immediately warms the soul- it’s gentle, natural scent and its many uses provide an abundance of projects for use around your home or homestead.
Our goal is to use only what we need during the process, and we will discuss ways to limit waste and reuse every bit of the leftovers. A simple, thoughtful life is what we’re striving toward in 2022. Please join us for this fun, interactive workshop and fall in love with beeswax. Take home what you make!
Class size limited to 6; ages 12 and up
