Make do and mend: a lesson in doing more with less for Earth-conscious humans

  • Sow and Sew Farm 2110 NC HWY 54 W Chapel Hill United States (map)

Join Diana and Lennox in the studio for a fun, Earth-conscious workshop on mending, up-cycling, and breathing new life into worn out and tired clothing.

This workshop is a fantastic way to explore and appreciate the concept of a non-disposable society. If we can teach children early that we must take care of what we have, and that there are fun and creative ways of bringing new life into the things we once loved, then perhaps we will make a positive impact on their future.

You are encouraged to bring worn out jeans, and/or clothing that you need to fix or make new again.

Suitable for anyone who is interested in reducing their carbon footprint one garment at a time.

$55 per person
