Sashiko hand-stitching @ The Strand Center for the Arts

Join Diana at The Strand for an afternoon of intentional, meditative hand-stitching. Sashiko, whose literal translation is “tiny stabs,” became a widely practiced art form that stemmed from the age-old adage, “necessity breeds creativity.” You will learn about the history of sashiko, work with existing patterns and practice creating your own pattern. Supplies included. Enrollment link forthcoming!
